Seton's Story...

"Ours is a story of faith in God, hope for our world and love for God's creations. Celebrate your story, preserve your memories and pass on your legacy, in a truly unique way"        Seton McGlennon

It began...

Growing up in Short Hills, New Jersey and as a Realtor on the Jersey Shore and the Outer Banks of NC, Seton hand painted ornaments of her client's homes, the homes she sold, and gave them as her closing gifts.

in 1993, her art business began when she wanted to be home with her children, and knowing how well the house ornaments had done for her as sales tools, and with the encouragement of her family, she began selling the house ornaments to fellow Realtors.

Her fresh style garnered quite a bit of attention and her ornaments were featured on Regis and Kathie Lee, the Home and Family Show and hanging on the Bill Clinton Presidential Blue Room Tree at the White House.

The art of life into life as art - with heart...

Always on a quest for a new way of memorable expression, Seton created a unique concept in art, as she illustrates the Story of your Life thus celebrating the age - old tradition of story telling, with her brush!

Self taught, her warm and humorous refined folk style, profiles the family's personal story as the scenes spring to life through her illustrations.

What a thrill when she was featured in PEOPLE Magazine and on Oprah's Favorite Things Show as Oprah called Seton's artwork "Gift of the Millennium!

Presidents, celebrities and hundreds of delighted individuals are collectors and she has enjoyed creating each and every piece. In 2004 and again in 2006, former President George and Laura Bush commissioned 2000 ornaments to give as their personal Christmas gifts, thus making Seton a three time White House Artist.

Her illustrations have been featured along with articles in the Civitas Magazine and NC Gardner Magazine. Everything she creates is ultra personal, meaningful, and celebrates a special time or place, with love and a brush stroke!

Seton wants to help...

Every year a percentage from her artwork, as well as her upcoming book, is given to the ASPCA and Durham Rescue Mission. Seton has been an contributing artist for over 5 years, donating a Memory Canvas, to Doodle for Hunger, NYC, for their fundraising food campaign, as well as the Greenwich Hospital and many various fundrasing endeavours.
