StoryBoard Process

My concept in art, begins with a tailored questionnaire, memorabilia and photos to create a custom the mixed media story. Each piece is tailored for any private story and what is loved will be featured prominently within the colorful artwork.

I begin with your words and a sketch of important events and focus of the painting. It is the way I spin your tale together, which does follow a time line. Childood, education, wedding...then I grab my inks, acrylics and a bit of decoupodge, and weave the story as the layers appear. A logo, business card, the caricatures speak, and smile from the colorful art form, as your story is celebrated with a brushstroke.

Artist Biography

A born illustrator, this self taught artist from Short Hills, NJ, has always seen the funny and sentimental side of life.  A graduate of Millburn High & Katherine Gibbs, this happy Camp Tegawitha camper, became a Realtor along the Jersey Shore in Normandy Beach & the Outer Banks of NC.

A unique talent emerged when, as a realtor, Seton began creating miniature portraits of her client's homes on glass ornaments and presenting them as her closing gifts, the client's loved them!

In 1993, this nostalgia artist's  business became a full-time venture, when she offered her home ornaments to fellow realtors. Seton could capture and create any design and all held personal memories for one and all. It was that personal touch and creativity which propelled her in the marketplace and garnered quite a bit of attention.

Celebrities, politicians and clients world-wide "remember the time," as this artist of memories has created original designs for the  NFL, Oprah, as her Favorite Thing, featured in PEOPLE Magazine, Regis & Kathie Lee, The Home & Family Show and commissioned by the White House.

In 2004 and 2006, Seton was commissioned to design and create the Christmas  gifts given by President and Mrs. Bush and now her limited edition series are offered at the George W. Bush Presidential Library in Dallas.

Seton's highly personal contemporary artwork, joins collections around the world, as each symbolic piece celebrates a very private memory, yours to enjoy!
