ARTIST STATEMENT
One question often asked is "Tell me the story" and I answer that very question in each fun filled piece I create.
I believe the past should be celebrated, and I try and capture those many moments in a fun way, all within the art. I spin your story, with humor and heart. I turn a phrase, add a joke, feature moments from the time period, or something special you might have mentioned, all to celebrate life, in art.
The illustrations will happily engage with a smile and that brings a smile to my face, as stories, history and memories are truly what is important to be told...

SETON'S STORY
A born illustrator with a sense of humor, this self taught artist from
Short Hills, NJ, has always seen the funny and sentimental side of life.
Her refreshingly different concept in art saves personal stories and celebrates them, in each colorful, busy piece she creates. A funny reference on a sign, a secret might appear, the many happy moments erupt, with smiles, humor and heart.
A graduate of Millburn High School '69 and Katherine Gibbs School, this happy Camp Tegawitha camper became a Realtor along the Jersey Shore in Normandy Beach and on the Outer Banks of NC.
As a Realtor, Seton began creating miniature portraits of her client's homes on glass ornaments and presenting them as her closing gifts, the client's loved them!
Her illustrating grew as she began to feature client's stories and personal lives on tables, trunks and canvases and a bit of notoriety ensued; Magazines, featured artist offerings, tv spots, it was the personal touch and fun-loving humor which propelled her artwork into the marketplace and garnered quite a bit of attention.
Seton has wowed celebrities, politicians and clients world-wide as they "Remember the Time" in each custom piece.
Oprah loved her personal artwork so much, she featured Seton on "Oprah's Favorite Things Show" as the "Gift of the Millennium". Seton has been featured in PEOPLE Magazine, Southern Living and numerous other publications & TV shows such as; The Home and Family Show, Regis and Kathie Lee. Her art has been gifted by the NFL Jacksonville Jaguars owners to team members, celebrity gifting and many others.
In 1999, her custom ornament of the White House was chosen to adorn the Presidential Blue Room Christmas Tree. In 2004 and 2006 Seton was commissioned by the White House to design and create the personal Presidential Holiday Gifts, given by the President and Mrs. Bush.
Her unique ornaments joined the Bush Presidential Library opening, as well as the Lincoln Presidential Library, as her custom art has joined a few traveling Historic Collections Presidential Memorabilia, featured at Museums and Library displays.
Seton looks forward to assisting you and saving a lifetime of personal memories in a custom piece and having you join the many collectors worldwide.
Her artwork can be seen housed in Hospitals, as patient artwork, in schools, colleges and fine home collections.
